I had the ducts cleaned at my house by AAA, I am very glad I did. It was done in about a half-day and I immediately noticed a difference. The picture below is the HEPA filter after the ducts were cleaned, it was white when they started. I'm definitely going to do this yearly now, it was money well spent.
